Pima County court-record searching starts with the court that owns the file. Superior Court records usually route through the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court in Pima County. Justice Court cases route through Pima County Consolidated Justice Court or another Pima County justice court. Tucson city citations and city misdemeanors route through Tucson City Court. Federal cases route through PACER and the federal District of Arizona.

The Pima County Clerk of the Superior Court case-records page separates several access channels. Public Record Search provides limited public viewing of Pima County Superior Court case information. ECR for Parties allows eligible parties to view their public case documents online. ECR for Attorneys is for attorneys assigned to a party. Arizona eAccess is a statewide Arizona Judicial Branch portal for certain Superior Court civil and criminal records.

Case-number searching reduces false matches. Keep prefixes and suffixes exactly as shown on the court notice, minute entry, payment invoice or filing document.
If searching by person or business name, compare court, case type, filing date, party role, attorney, judicial officer, docket history and final disposition before relying on a match.
The Clerk notes that document information may take up to 3 business days after filing to appear online. A missing online result is not proof that no case or document exists.
Most documents may be viewed at the courthouse, but the Clerk recommends calling first to ask whether the document is available for viewing or purchase.
