Worcester County court records start with the court department, not the county name alone

How to use MassCourts for Worcester County records
MassCourts is the practical starting point for many Worcester County Trial Court dockets. The public portal is useful for locating docket information, but the official public record remains with the Clerk, Register, or Recorder office where the case was filed.

Choose District, Superior, Probate and Family, Housing, Land, or another available department before selecting the court division and location.
MassCourts shows tabs such as Name, Case Type, Case Number, and Ticket/Citation Number. Case Number is usually safest when you have the exact docket number.
Mass.gov describes the Name tab for civil cases. Last name requires at least two characters, first name requires at least one character, and company name can be used for business parties.
For case-number searches, enter the exact docket number with required spacing, capitalization, and leading zeros. Do not assume the portal will fix missing zeros or formatting changes.
Each result may represent a party in a case, so the same docket can appear more than once. Compare department, division, docket number, party role, filing date, and event history.
For certified copies, recent activity, corrections, sealed-record questions, or physical file review, contact the office where the case was filed.
Public online access is not the same as full courthouse access
Massachusetts distinguishes remote public access from courthouse access. Publicly available court records may be inspectable at a courthouse counter or public kiosk, while remote internet access can be narrower under the Uniform Rules on Public Access to Court Records.
